Today, Groupe SEB is the world leader in small household equipment. It's a combination of cookware and small kitchen electrics. Groupe SEB has a portfolio of around 30 brands. It includes famous international brands such as Tefal, Rowenta, Moulinex, or Krups and some other local brands such as Arno in Brazil or Supor in China. Also, Groupe SEB have more than 30,000 employees around the world. We sell our products in more than 200 countries.
Since we have a lot of brands, we have a lot of websites and, of course, we have a portfolio of clients all over the world. We needed to link our assets, such as product images and videos, to all these access points. Regarding digital asset management, few years ago we were using a different platform that became outdated in short time which caused frustratioin among users because it just wasn't efficient enough. Bynder was exactly what catered to our needs from a feature point of view and from a usage point of view, as well. Artificial intelligence and automated image recognition are part of many reasons that now motivated us to work with Bynder.
The Bynder implementation phase was quite fast for us, it lasted for only 7 months, and during those 7 months we had to import our 200,000 assets in particular that we previously had. The fact that it's a SaaS solution available through a simple browser made the implementation phase a lot easier. In fact, the benefits today are, I would say, enormous. Bynder is extremely important in helping us to lower what I would call "Time to Market". Today, every new employee gets some guidelines, one webinar, and that's it—he' s good to go, whether it's a user or a third-party collaborator who creates content.
What I really appreciated, along with all of our users, is the tool's ease of use with a user-friendly workflow, really intuitive for all the major DAM features. In terms of rights management, which is key for our image assets, Bynder provides a solution we are satisfied with, and we want to go even further. and I'm very confident about the future, to find other new solution to this question.
